Yin yoga is a practice centred around floor-based poses held for several minutes, using props as supports. This is a meditative practice that emphasises paying attention and awareness of breath. It involves some stretching, some staying, some softening – towards a place of ease and grounding.
Mindfully bending and gently moving can be remarkably rejuvenating; a wonderful way of simultaneously refreshing and slowing down. This workshop is suitable for every ability and level of experience.
