Tenerife Retreat

Practical, intelligent and with a sense of humour, Norman’s grasp of all things yogic is deep yet accessible. In London Norman teaches classes, workshops and teacher training courses as well as working with small groups of teachers who value his support and advice. Maitripushpa’s sunny and helpful outlook, along with her deep knowledge of all things meditational, completes this retreat mix.

There are slow, juicy Yin Yoga sessions most afternoons where you will have chance to get intensely involved with each pose. Under Norman’s sensitive guidance you can recognise your edge and enjoy experimenting with subtle, and not so subtle sensations. We are excited to welcome you to our new location in Agios Pavlos, a stunning bay with sparkling waters and a warm welcoming atmosphere. You may have visited on a previous stay with us - it is the next beach over the sand dunes from the wild/naked beach. There is more of a holiday vibe with umbrellas on the beach.

There is not such feeling of isolation as before with the retreat located within a bay that has two cafes and a taverna. However aside from having closer neighbors we are still in the middle of nowhere with deserted beaches just over the hill.

Even though the venue and setting will be a little bit different, we plan to provide the same feeling of coming back home to Yoga Rocks with the excitement of a new space. We'll have the same high quality food and team atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and clean though smaller than the ones we had at our last venue. They do have breathtaking views and we are much closer to the sea - just a 2-3 min walk so jumping in first thing in the morning, straight after class or any time in fact will be so much easier. We'll have hammocks to relax in, and great company of course
